Shipping policy

Modesty Living generally use Royal Mail  to ship parcels. Dispatch timing usually takes place 1-2 working days after an order is placed (this may be longer during busy time periods). UK deliveries may take up to 2-7 working days and delivery time frames are not guaranteed.  

Tracking updates take place through the Royal Mail website (or other courier) and there may be delays in live updates. It is the customer's responsibility to check tracking updates. 

If there are courier delays with your order, or disputed delivery, we will not be refunding or sending another item out without there being an investigation made by the courier company FIRST. This can take a several weeks (even up to 12 weeks) and only if the courier company reimburses us, will we reimburse the customer. We will only reimburse the amount we receive from the courier company, not more.

If a parcel is returned back to us for any other reason including the customer putting an incorrect address, we will refund the item value only and NOT THE SHIPPING FEES.

 

Customs/Duty Charges for International Customers 

The customer will be liable to pay any Custom or Duty charges at your country of residence. The amount will be set by the local postal authority in your country of residence. This amount will need to be paid in full by the customer and we cannot accept liability for these charges.

 

Cancellations

We cannot cancel orders once the order has been placed. Typically orders are dispatched within 12 hours. 

Please ensure you have entered the correct details including the size of your abaya and the correct shipping address. If you have any issues with your order that has been placed please notfify us via email to modestyliving@hotmail.com as soon as possible and we will only be able to make amendments if your order has not been packed and dispatched.
